Frisco Fridays: FEP's BAWSE Program is partnering with Made in the City (MITC) to produce the monthly family-friendly small business marketplace, Frisco Fridays. This series aims to support local businesses, counter gentrification, and foster community engagement. Each event will feature a small business pop-up market with some of Frisco’s finest fashion, delicious food, music and entertainment for all, games for adults like dominoes and cards, and children activities.

Buy Out Business (B.O.B.) Days: A monthly event series where we promote one day a month to buy out a San Francisco business’ entire inventory in a single day. We want to leverage our network to support the businesses that value the people and their lived experiences in our community and use their business and position to balance making a living with making an impact. We are doing this in honor of living legend Robert “Bob” Pinkard, owner and operator of Surfside Liquors since December 12, 1974 in Bayview Hunter’s Point. This project is a grassroots effort to empower individuals to contribute to building our community’s capacity and stimulate our local economy.

  • Social Capacity Building Events

We will host 2 signature events a year to provide opportunities for small business owners and community leaders to connect, partner, and grow. These events are designed to bring together like-minded individuals, offering a platform to share ideas, forge partnerships, and access new markets. For more information about these events, sign-up for our newsletter to receive notifications or email: events@FamilyEquityPartnersSF.org
